Full Seat riding breeches are commonly used in eventing and dressage. These breeches have a suede-like or leather padding that starts just below your knee and follows up each leg to cover your entire seat to provide a more secure grip in the saddle. The padding on full seat breeches can be made of different materials to offer a range of grip and protection. Self-fabric, clarino or other synthetic suedes, and leather are the more common types of material used for the full seat. Often, each type of material used dictates the price point of the breech with the least expensive being a self-fabric and the most expensive a leather material.
