Side Zip breeches are a more traditional type of breech. These breeches are in the knee patch family, but with a side zip as opposed to a front zipper. Just like the knee patch they have suede, suede-like, or leather padding at the inner part of the knee. This style of riding breech looks elegant and classic which is why people keep coming back to this breech. Side zip riding breeches are more commonly found in the show ring by hunters, or hunter/jumpers.
