Jodhpurs are most commonly worn by children or young riders although adults can wear jodhpurs as well. Most adults wear the Kentucky Jod which have a flair bottom to them. Jodhpurs are designed to go all the way down your ankle and are cuffed as opposed to breeches which stop before your ankle. Some jodhpurs have straps at the end of the pant to keep the pants from rising up your leg while riding. Breeches are normally worn with either tall boots or half chaps and paddock boots, while jodhpurs are traditionally worn with a short riding boot (or paddock boot). Jodhpurs are great for young riders showing in hunter, hunter/jumper or eventing shows.
