Equishure is a time-released hindgut buffer specifically designed for horses fed high-grain diets or grazing high-fructan pastures. These horses often suffer from hindgut acidosis, a syndrome in which pH falls too low in the cecum and colon. Hindgut acidosis might be the cause for decreased appetite, mild to moderate colic of unexplained origin, weight loss and onset of vices such as wood chewing and weaving.
